Social Media Marketing Intern
About the Role
Hey,
You're a student who's already on LinkedIn or X more than you probably should be. You follow developer tools, AI startups, and tech accounts for fun. You've started thinking about a career in marketing and you want real experience, not busywork.
We'd like to give you that.
What Hackmamba does
We drive growth and create authentic technical content for the world's best tech companies. Our clients are the developer tools you've heard of and a lot of the ones you haven't yet. Our job is to make their products make sense to the engineers who'd love them, and social is a big part of how we do that.
What you'd do here
Work alongside our Growth Marketer and Content Operations team to support social for our portfolio of developer tool clients.
Some of what you'd help with:
Drafting LinkedIn and X posts for review and feedback
Researching trends and conversations happening in the developer space
Uploading YouTube videos on Hackmamba's YouTube channel
Tracking what's performing well and pulling together reports
Sitting in on content planning and learning how campaigns come together
Helping repurpose long-form content into social posts
You won't be working in isolation. You'll have the support of a team, real feedback on your writing, and a front-row seat to how a developer marketing agency actually operates.
You're probably a fit if
You're a current student studying marketing, communications, or something adjacent.
You're active on LinkedIn or X and pay attention to how content performs, even informally.
You're curious about the developer and tech space, and want to understand it from the inside.
You write clearly and want to get better at it.
You're reliable, ask good questions, and follow through on what you say you'll do.
Bonus points
You're interested in AI, developer tools, or SaaS.
You've run a personal blog, newsletter, or social account, even a small one.
You're comfortable using AI tools for research and drafting.
